In 2022, Mercari, Inc. established a Center of Excellence in Bengaluru, India—our first development base outside Japan and the US.At Mercari, we have built a strong and globally diverse development organization to achieve groundbreaking innovation. Our Tokyo office members hail from over 50 countries and regions. Many engineers from India are also contributing with their deep technical knowledge and strong leadership skills. We strongly believe in the potential of India's diverse and highly skilled engineers to create new innovations. The newly launched Center of Excellence in Mercari India aims to be the largest technology hub of Mercari Group, with a team that will maximize its technical contribution. Together, we aim to strengthen Mercari’s leading position in the global market and achieve our mission to “Circulate all forms of value to unleash the potential in all people.
